A grandchild is born
Grandma lives far away
Yet gets to spend time
With him today
He snuggles in close
And takes a sweet rest
They rock and relax ~
His head on her breast.
He hears without knowing
Something quite neat ~
He’s memorizing
His Grandma’s heartbeat
